"I have been coming to St. Lucia Eye Center ever since I was a young child. Dr. Carlos Montoya Sr. was my doctor until he retired and then his son Dr Carlos Montoya Jr. took over my care. They really do care about their patients at St. Lucia Eye Center, I have been a patient for about 20 years now and the level of great patient care has not changed. They will take the time to answer your questions and actually listen to your concerns rather than rush out the door. This past December I finally got LASIK surgery and my experience could not have been better. I had a small time frame to get the surgery done because of my medical school schedule and the staff and Dr Montoya were great at making it happen so I would not have to wait another year to have this surgery performed. Pre and post surgery Dr. Montoya prepared me very well for the procedure by taking the time to explain the procedure itself and how I would feel afterwards. He emphasized the importance of nutrition for a rapid healing process which I did have. The staff that coordinated my surgery was also wonderful and very willing to answer all my questions.
